Similar to progressive muscle relaxation, this mindfulness exercise is designed to help you connect with your body. This is a great tool to help ground you.
Being able to connect with our bodies is so important in so many ways. If you struggle with numbing out, this is for you. If you find your anxiety overwhelming you in the blink of an eye, this will help! If you have experienced trauma, your body holds those memories. This might be useful, unless it activates your trauma memories.
