Belly Breathing

I continue to talk about how covid 19 is impacting Illinois and our community.


Learn a combination of belly breathing and mindfulness attention to the body. It's my version of progressive muscle relaxation. Calming the body is often the first step in calming the mind. This is helpful for anxiety, depression, dissociation and more. It's my favorite exercise to teach University of Illinois (at Urbana Champaign!) students during finals weeks!
